Dave Pasternack, Chef, Esca, NY City
From Ted: As I sit here after a day of shoveling snow I can’t help but start thinking of spring and summer. And when I think of summer I dream of the days sitting by the beach and enjoying fresh seafood. Ah, seafood!!! How can one think of seafood without thinking of the great seafood Chef Dave Pasternack of Esca in NY City. I met Chef Pasternack during my recent photo shoots with Lidia Bastianich. Dave took time out of his busy day to have some fun while taking new photographs. Above is one of the images from that day.
Esca is my favorite! Sara Moulton and I frequently have lunch there to catch up and the crudo always knocks my socks off!
