Eileen Yin Fei-Lo, Cookbook author / Chef
From Ted: As anyone who reads this blog knows I love to photograph chefs. Recently I had the opportunity to photograph one of the leading authorities of Chinese cuisine, Eileen Yin Fei-Lo. She is an educator, chef and author of eleven cookbooks on Chinese cooking. The location of this shoot was her home kitchen. The walls are lined with all her woks, spices, and cooking tools (a la Julia Child). She meticulously chops and preps, and then in front of your eyes magically and effortlessly cooks the most amazing Chinese food I have ever had. And she does all this while talking and graciously making you feel welcome in her kitchen. What a treat it was to photograph her.
