I recently had the privilege of photographing Chef Burke at David Burke Townhouse. This New York restaurant showcases his sense of whimsy and playfulness. In order to illustrate this, I chose to photograph him under the blown-glass balloons in the passageway connecting the front and back dining rooms.
The second photograph, showing the chef outside the restaurant on a bench, sandwiched between two women reading his cookbooks is, I think, just plain fun.
Love the humor, bringing a huge smile to my early morning face!! The whimsy in your chef photos series is quite compelling. Keep ‘em coming.
